So, let's get one thing straight. I hate Twilight. I hate Edward & Bella. Stephenie Meyer is an incredibly poor writer (dear someone, please show her the way adverbs are supposed to work!). I read the series because my best friend Amy had to go and fall in love with it (surprise, surprise). The whole concept of E & B really offends my feminist sensibilities. It's just NOT a healthy relationship. But I do like Jacob Black. And I like Bella much more when she's with him. Taylor Lautner is incredible in the role, and after seeing New Moon & hearing "Here Is Gone" I was inspired to make this EP. Please enjoy! He is, after all, the most interesting character.

Max & Sherri Bemis // Rest Upon a Chance

I dare you to find a couple cuter than these two. I *love* Say Anything, and when I heard lead singer Max Bemis married Eisley singer Sherri Kay Dupree, I was ecstatic. He's over the moon for her, and after all the hell he's been through he deserves some happiness. I saw both bands at the Norva in Norfolk, VA in November and when Max joined Eisley onstage for one song he told Sherri he loved her at the end. It was a very cute, very subtle exchange, but palpable all the same. As soon as I heard Springsteen's "If I Should Fall Behind," I was inspired to make this mix. Three Say Anything songs are included... and of course Max's new song about Sherri: "Crush'd." I couldn't think of two people more deserving of a love like this. Atlanta Started Raining On Me // End of a Friendship

This is a mix for the end of a friendship. For someone you love so much they are almost your idol. Or maybe they are. It's dangerous. I ended the friendship I had because it was unhealthy for me because she was so wonderful and gorgeous I couldn't love myself around her. When I heard the title of this mix in a Something Corporate song, I knew I had to make a mix about this recent experience (she's from Athens, Georgia). Before Yoko, Linda, Olivia & Barbara there were Cynthia, Jane, Pattie & Maureen. And yes, I realize that Jane & Paul were only engaged, but for all intents and purposes of this mix they might as well have been married. This mix springs from the latest episode of Degrassi Season 8: "With or Without You"
Frankly, I haven't been the hugest fan of Season 8, but I haven't been this excited since Emma & Jay hooked up in Season 4. Of course, Johnny is the lastest bad boy. And what good girl doesn't like a bad boy? I can totally relate to Alli's crush on Johnny, and I hope the writers don't just abandon this plotline.
